went for St. Andrew's Band Concert - Saints Ascensio last night

haix, the journey there was tedious. we were already running late and yet the 'crown prince' restuarant is taking its own sweet time to serve us. when food was finally serve, we simply had to gobble them up fast while making tess follow suit. what'smore, the bus refuse to come... and when it has arrived, there was a terrible jam. the worst was when we were like ants scurrying all over the place as we were terribly late.

the concert started at 7.30pm. but at 8.15pm, we were still walking around in the outskirts of 'St. Andrew's Village', in search of a viable entrance. (it was worse than walking to nj's main gate on saturdays, especially if it's in a place so stranger to us) this is the second time such a thing has happen. the previous time when we went to vs concert, we had to walk more than the distance covered by 8 bus-stops simply because we were misled by the bus driver and the residents (come to think of it, shouldn't they be familiar with their neighbourhood?) however, the similarity for both occasion was that we had to cross a canal. and there we were, at the Cultural centre, at 8.30. man, no more vacant seats in the circle! fortunately, after the first song heard upon our arrival there, we were told to go down to the first level as there's a row of seats available. first time sitting in the first row (thou it appeared weird, it was still quite alright, cos it's still a far cry from the seventh month performance...j/k...)

joe said, "...the upstairs people asked us to come down...". and the teacher-in-charge started to have several question marks bobbing out of his head. but it wasn't long before he finally understand joe. so he said, "....you meant the usherers upstairs?"

anyway, not long after, we see our feet taking us to the train station. once again, it's a long journey... (why can't there be travellators and escalators to ferry us around? must have sounded so dumb when i said that...)

haix, can't be bother to continue with the entry for now. kinda bored with my contents. but well, nothing interesting really happened anyway.
